Flowers do suggest beauty and love, maybe even fertility. Only if their symbolic representation in the Indian Film Industry would've been on an aesthetic level, would love not have taken the sinister meaning in our society as it does today.

Tiny islands amidst River Yamuna atrract some larger birds. Maybe the waters are less of an acid these days, owing to the rains that these birds have taken shelter here - safe from the men and the cattle. 5 species that I can count.
PS: If you know their species, pls share. One is heron, i guess.

Somewhere close to the town of Nainital, India, deep in the jungle, I come across a Red Muntjac a.k.a. Barking Deer. These are a deer species; known for their sharp, loud barks upon sensing danger or when separated from their herd. This one barks hysterically to locate its herd - oblivious to my presence - just a few paces from where I stand.
